The Seattle Files with Chris Allen Live: Harry and the Hendersons

Chris Allen, host of The Seattle Files, brings his popular Seattle history podcast to Central Cinema. Panelists include:
Nancy Guppy (Art Zone with Nancy Guppy, Almost Live)
Alison Lührs (Jet City Improv)
Doug Willott (Program Director for Central Cinema, Jet City Improv)

About The Seattle Files with Chris Allen: Every week Chris gets together with a different local comedian and teaches them something about Seattle history. Catch up on past episodes at http://theseattlefiles.com/

Three young teenagers trained by the White Dragon (that Australian guy from the live action Fist of the North Star movie) gifted with the ninja powers of the elemental elements! Will the Pocket Ninjas be able to defeat the Cobra Khan before they pollute the planet? Will the White Dragon awkwardly become one of their step dads after dating their mom? Did Robert The Face” Z’Dar regret this cinematic decision? You’ll have to come to the next TEC LIVES!! to find out!!

Post Atomic Horror

[This show is pay what you will. The bar will be open!]

Oct 17nd @ 3:30pm. Feel free to come by early at 2pm to watch the episode live before the actual show.

Show Description The Post Atomic Horror podcast has taken on a monumental task: to review every official contribution to Star Trek canon, from the original pilot to the series finale of Enterprise. The show’s hosts are serious about Trek, but not too serious they don’t obsess over stardates or the fact that Kirk’s middle initial was R” his first appearance, and they’re not afraid to call out episodes for being stupid or terrible. (In fact, co-host Matt Rowbotham recently described a particularly egregious episode of Deep Space Nine as hot buttered garbage water.) The audience will be joining the successful comedy podcast as they kick off season two of Star Trek: Voyager with the episodes The 37s” and Initiations. This would be an ideal jumping-on point for new listeners to join in the nerdery, the mockery and the overall space madness that is the Post Atomic Horror.

Featuring -Ron “AAlgar” Watt & Matt Rowbotham

Producer bio -Ron AAlgar” Watt and Matt Rowbotham have been working as a writing/performing duo since 2006. They currently co-host the Sarcastic Voyage podcast (a triweekly mixture of sketch comedy, serials and radio plays) and co-produce the Post Atomic Horror podcast (a weekly comedic look at Star Trek in its entirety). Together, they have published three books, produced a YouTube video that went viral (earning them coverage by Comics Alliance, Topless Robot and Newsarama) and performed to capacity crowds at the Emerald City Comicon.
