Show Description Welcome to WISECRACK, a showcase of Seattle’s most daring wits and subversive side-splitters. They’ll tickle your funny bone AND your frontal lobes.

Featuring Produced by Val Nigro

Producer bio – Val Nigro is a Seattle-based comic, writer, and herstory buff. Recent comedy highlights include Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, The Comedy Womb Presents: Cameron Esposito, and the 2015 Comedy Womb Tour.

Deep Lez

Deep Lez is Seattle’s premier and, quite possibly, only dyke comedy collective! They aim to entertain through a queer, feminist lens. They offer a unique voice in Seattle’s burgeoning queer comedy movement. And they’re not just for lezzies they have performed in front of all kinds of audiences, and their subversive brand of humor offers something for everyone to appreciate. Their sketches find the humor in the everyday, the obscure, and sometimes the absurd all while weaving in bits of dyke culture past and present. They create memorable, quotable characters like the beloved Flame of The Let’s-Be-in-Love Podcast. And no Deep Lez show is complete without a few props for the ages. They have a lot of fun together onstage, and they want their audience to have so much fun that they leave the patriarchy behind forever! Or at least for 20 hilarious minutes.

Out & In returns for it’s 4th annual Pride Comedy Showcase, with the hilarious Nico Santos (Superstore, Chelsea Lately) on Tuesday, June 21 at the Egyptian Theatre. Nico will be joined by hosts Nick Sahoyah and Elicia Sanchez, along with special guests Marita De Leon, Finn Cottom, Val Nigro, Kathleen Nacozy.

Nico Santos was born and raised in the Philippines and now calls the US of A home. Though fresh off the boat, he has assimilated to American culture rather quickly by living in California by way of Portland, Oregon. He started doing stand-up in San Francisco. In just a short amount of time, Nico conquered the Bay Area comedy scene with his acute observations and quirky characters. He touches on his race, family and the queer dynamic among other things. Charming audiences all across the country with his sharp, sarcastic wit and outrageous sensibility, Nico has that rare ability to be crass and snarky while at the same time remaining completely likable. An absolute entertaining blend of silliness, sass and style. The SF Guardian has called him perfectly inappropriate”, continually blurring the lines of what one might expect from him. He has written for E! Network’s Fashion Police and appeared on television for Showtime’s Pride Comedy Jam, Ground Floor, Mulaney and 2 Broke Girls. He was also a regular panelist on Chelsea Lately and made his film debut in Mall Cop: Blart 2. Currently, Nico is known for playing Mateo in NBC’s new hit comedy Superstore with America Ferrera, which has just been renewed for a second season. You can find him on Facebook and follow him on Twitter and Instagram under @nicosantoscomic.

Out & In, the brainchild and baby of host Nick Sahoyah, is dedicated to bringing the best queer comedy to the masses.
