Seattle’s Monthly Celebration of Pop, Camp, Gay, Underground and Trash Culture of the 60’s & 70’s and BEYOND! returns in July with SWISHED ON TV – A look at the Flamboyant, Funny and Fabulous (and sometimes tragic) Fey Stars of Television. The love dared not speak its name, but it sure could wink. We will salute those like Paul Lynde, Alan Sues, Charles Nelson Reilly, Liberace and the others who bravely put themselves out there, often being considered little more than fodder for laughs and ridicule but who paved the way for the out, loud and proud.
How it works: The audience splits up into two teams. Each team has a pair of comedian captains who must harness the smarts of their team members (that’s you!) and give the final say on answers in order to win. Five unique rounds of trivia will determine who walks away victorious!
The inaugural show (“First Blood”) features the team of Daniel O’Connell & Daniel Desrosiers going head-to-head against Mo Chomko & Kevin Lyons!
Last month CEO of the Atlas Theatre, Alex Grindeland, threatened The Ballard Boyz with cancellation!
Weird and Awesome with Emmett Montgomery is a love letter to the strangeness and talent that walks amongst us. Each show features brilliant people doing things outside of their comfort zones or the things they are really good at. Prizes are won! Friends are made! Nightmares are shared and Joy is experienced!
Featuring the talents of Co-host Jana Hutchison (Sister Kate/Unexpected Productions) who has promised us spectacle and grace!

I’m back! Did you miss me?
Don’t answer that.
Anyway, I got another great show for you! Comedy and weirdness from:
Cory Nealy and Val Bush!
Zak Nelson? I think? I’ll think of something.
And of course the effervescent and glamorous Bhama Roget!
I know you got $5, so just come to the show and forget about all the horrible mistakes you’ve made for at least an hour! It’s a bar so you could really stretch that out if you like!
If you don’t show up I get sad and punish everybody around me!
Brittany and Matt, America’s favorite late night talk show host couple… are no longer together. However their contract with The Tipfield Hour is still binding, so lucky for you, the show must go on! You’ll still get that great variety of local comedians and musicians, and Matt and Brittany will still be there with that endearing banter you’ve grown to love, they just won’t be behind the same desk anymore and there will probably be some bitterness behind that banter. Come see The Tipfield Hour and you’ll laugh, smile and reflect on the sad realization that not even a loving relationship can last forever but a late night talk show can last longer than it should.
Theater Schmeater presents Questionable Content, a comedy panel show! Comedians and improvisers compete in an uproarious battle of wit, deception and knowledge of pop culture and off-beat news. There’s no knowing where the panel’s banter will go and it’s the audience who has the chance to win fabulous prizes in this hilarious comedy panel game show.
Come join us on February 18th for the Inaugural Send Up show!! The Send Up is a brand new variety show in Central District that showcases the great local stand-up, sketch comedy, and musical talent that Seattle has to offer.

Hosted by your Gay Uncle, Jeffrey Robert, the show is part salon, part cabaret, part storytelling and features Fabulous Special Guests from the worlds of Comedy, Drag, Music, Writing and Assorted Other Ne’er-Do-Wells.
